Foreshadowing their 2nd album - to be released in 2025 on "sama recordings" - this special MiniDisc® release is a work in progress documenting a work in progress: both a preface and an extension. beauchamp*geissler are mapping and linking, liking and hiking. But unlike former GDR hiking maps, dubiously documenting rabbit holes near the border, obscuring patterns with marginal data, their truthful map directly reflects reality. They cycle in the dark past cars and stop to scrutinise a Citroën Dyane, distant frogs sing their way through the night, tripping over a rat's nest, just 'round the corner from where Mary Hansen got run over. Glad they don't live down that end of town anymore.
